Distribution of lower-tier market mobile internet users in China 2020, by income
As of May 2020, about two-thirds of China's lower-tier market mobile internet users earned less than 5,000 yuan monthly, while only four percent of them had a monthly income of above 10,000 yuan. The lower-tier market in China contains tier-3 and below cities, as well as rural areas.
